Tracy Morgan Hospitalized

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan was hospitalized Sunday after collapsing at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Morgan was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards, where he received the Spotlight Initiative Award. He collapsed after his speech.

Despite reports that he had appeared intoxicated, no drugs or alcohol were found in his system. His reps say the collapse was due to “exhaustion and altitude.”  The 43-yr old actor also suffers from diabetes and had a kidney transplant in 2010.

The 30 Rock actor made news last summer for his anti-gay remarks during a stand-up routine. He apologized to the gay community and met with GLAAD and victims of anti-gay violence. The show mocked his anti-gay rant in an episode titled “Idiots are People Too,”  which aired Thursday night.

Morgan was at Sundance promoting his new film “Predisposed,” in which he co-stars with Jesse Eisenberg and Melissa Leo.
